We’re only mere weeks away from the release of Mass Effect 3 and the game is looking pretty damn awesome. EA has certainly conquered Earth, so why not try space?

Next week, EA will launch copies of the game into space using weather balloons that will be released in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Berlin, London and Paris. Their voyage won’t be long, however, as they will soon return to earth to make first contact with fans.

Every copy will have a GPS onboard that fans can use to track their location as they return to Earth. I can’t wait to see the It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World scenarios that are sure to ensue. Check out the official Mass Effect website for more details.
