Metal Gear Rising:  Revengeance makes most hardcore Metal Gear fans happy to be alive. The reveal of the recent “Arm” trailer on the official metal gear solid website wasn’t as climactic as most would have hoped, but it brought about a mind blowing question. Could Konami eventually plan a Liquid Ocelot creation with the remains of Raiden and Solidus Snake?

If that’s the case, then Metal Gear fans are more stimulated than ever. A strip of binary coding on the official side translates to Raiden’s MGS mantra “i am lightning. The rain transformed.”

Site interactivity is at a minimum, but there is a command prompt that lets you search for ‘data.’ I spent over an hour entering every metal gear title, character, and faction into the search engine, however, and the only reward was a picture of Metal Gear Ray upon entering ‘Ray.’ Give it a shot at http://www.metalgearsolid.com/rising

Fans would love to know more about the game, and most of us are awaiting some meatier details. Between the ever evolving story and intelligent gameplay, hardcore gamers are anxious to get their ‘lightning bolt action’ on!
