It may be hard to believe, but this week marks the 20th anniversary of Wolfenstein 3D. To celebrate this milestone, id Software has released a free, browser based version of the game. The game is completely unedited, so need to worry about if enemies will leak sweat and if you’ll face off against Staatmeister instead of Hitler.

Get ready for a flood of nostalgia to hit you like a brick wall the second the game starts.

Not content to simply let you play the game for free, iD has also released a very interesting commentary, discounted the game pack on Steam and is even giving away the iOS version absolutely free.
