Ubisoft and Mondo Production have decided to get into the rather untapped sector of religious gaming. Announced last year, Babel Rising lets you play as God, bringing your iron hammer of justice down upon little men who merely want to see you. Raining fire and lightning down upon them, you’re quite a vengeful god. After all, you need to do as much as you can to stifle their progress on building that tower up to you. With the power of Microsoft’s Kinect and Sony’s Playstation Move, you are able to send nothing short of chaos down upon your human creations for what only seems as treason against you.

With the launch approaching, Ubisoft has released a promising new trailer offering a taste of what we can expect. With cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes alongside a strong number of missions and game modes, this is not a title to turn a blind eye.

Babel Rising releases next month and will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. The price point is still unknown.
