Sega to Publish Double Fine’s Next Adventure

In their twelve year history, Double Fine Productions has worked with big name publishers Majesco, EA Games, THQ and Microsoft Studios. So who’s next for the beloved independent developer? All signs point to Sega. The fine folks at Segabits have discovered that recently released art pieces from Double Fine matches a piece of art Sega has been teasing on their flicker account.

Rest assured this won’t be Double Fine’s Kickstarter game, but instead adventure game legend Ron Gilbert’s project that has been in development for some time. Based on the image that was given, it’s sure to be a fun and comical experience, something we have come to love from Ron Gilbert’s writing. Be prepared for an official announcement from both parties in the near future.
