E3 2012: Injustice: Gods Among Us

Posted by Jake on 04 Jun 2012

“What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat?” DC Comics in partnership with NetherRealm Studios have produced a fighting game so full of epicness even the Earth itself cannot contain it.

Superman versus Batman. The Flash versus Solomon Grundy. Wonder Woman versus Harley Quinn. You can pit all these characters against each other in DC’s new title, Injustice: Gods Among Us. But they aren’t the only heroes and villains: at least 20 characters are available with more to come through updates. There are gadget users like Harley and power players such as Superman.

Fights can be held at various popular stages: The Batcave, outside of Hall of Justice, and even outer space (when I meant Earth couldn’t contain everything I wasn’t kidding). The environments are even interactive. You can toss cars around and get knocked through buildings. How could Batman survive a brawl in space, you ask? Well, there’s a storyline to explain all the craziness but information is scarce on that right now. What we do know is there will be some online play! So, you can play with people across the planet just like the Flash probably could.
