Sly Cooper crept back into the spotlight at E3. After years away from the spotlight, the Cooper Gang has finally arrived in a new series installment for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

In Thieves of Time, Sly must travel through time and recover a book, the Thievius Raccoonus, which details his family’s reputation as master thieves. As players traverse through different time periods, they will meet with and play as Sly’s ancestors while uncovering more of the mystery and story behind the book. Each of Sly’s family members have unique abilities; Sir Galleth of the Knights of the Cooper Order, for example, is found in Medieval England and has a shield smashing ability. Collectible costumes found throughout the game give character different abilities. In addition to Sly’s family players will be able to play as Bentley, Murray, and Carmelita Fox.

Thieves of Time will allow for continuous gameplay between the PS3 and Vita, so saves from the Vita version can be immediately continued on the PS3 and vice versa.
