Tales of Xillia 2 Release Detailed

Posted by Steve Hannley on 27 Jun 2012

Namco Bandai have officially revealed the release date and pricing for Tales of Xillia 2 during their live stream today. The game will launch in Japan on November 1st and retail for 8,380yen (or over a hundred USD, ouch). Pre-order bonuses will include a novel detailing the time between the two Xillias, costume DLC and a custom PS3 theme.

Also announced was a special edition Tales of Xillia 2 DualShock 3 for 12,980 yen (over $160 USD, again ouch). You can check out pictures of everything below.

$100 for a game and $160 for a controller. It’s times like this I don’t envy being a gamer in Japan.

One day I plan to expose my child to no American history besides what they can pick up from playing Assassin's Creed III. Then I'm going to drop him or her into a Social Studies class and mildly enjoy the outcome. I'm going to be a great father.
