Via Facebook/Twitter today, Gearbox announced a fun token of appreciation to veteran players. Saved data from the first Borderlands on a player’s Xbox 360, PC, or PS3 will automatically be detected on Borderlands 2. Doing so will let players mix and match various skins and heads. The non-playable characters and enemy faces pictured include Sledge, Tannis, a Spiderant and a Hyperion Lance. The rewards seem to be cosmetic changes for the player to have fun with instead of giving any in-game advantage. It is also uncertain how to go about unlocking these features but we will keep you updated.
