Walking Dead First-Person Shooter

Posted by Jake on 09 Jul 2012

Activision and Terminal Reality are teaming up to develop a new video game installment of the graphic novel-turned-hit television show, The Walking Dead. Terminal Reality, who were behind games like BloodRayne, Ghostbusters: The Video Game and Kinect Star Wars, revealed their new title as The Walking Dead Begins. This is completely different from TellTale’s episodic version. The story revolves around Daryl Dixon and his life before the undead outbreak and his journey to seek safety in Atlanta.

In order to survive, players must conserve ammunition and resources. Fight against the Walkers or use stealth to hide from them. Either way, no place is safe. Characters will appear throughout the game and depending on your actions, they can be your friend, or become more dangerous than any zombie. The Walking Dead Begins relies heavily on the player’s tactics. It will take more than a shotgun to survive this post-apocalyptic world.

The release date is set for December 2013, giving fans plenty of time to catch up with the new season. It will be available for PS3, Xbox 360and PC. Stay tuned for more updates.
