Need for Speed Movie Gets Release Date

A few months ago, it was announced that EA had started production on a movie based on Need for Speed. The project now has an official release date of February 7th, 2014. Released by Disney and Dreamworks, the film is set to be directed by “Act of Valor” (you know, that “real” Navy SEALs movie with paid actors) co-director Scott Waugh.

Details remain scarce, but expect a Sam Worthington-ish star to be cast soon.
