Let your Super Powers Go Wild in Injustice

Posted by Adam Beck on 13 Jul 2012

For those unaware, the annual extravaganza that is Comic-Con is currently being held in San Diego, California, and what better event to show off some new gameplay of Warner Bros.’ upcoming superhero game, Injustice: Gods Among Us? Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the creators of the Mortal Kombat franchise, Injustice puts you up against DC’s most memorable characters in what looks to be a follow-up to Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe — without the MK characters.

The trailer features all your favorite DC superheroes, including Superman, Nightwing, Cyborg and so many more! Fight your way through the various superheroes and supervillains as each character will have their specific goal to accomplish. This is a fighting game that takes place on a two-dimensional plane, but will allow you to interact with objects in the background (for example, smacking your opponent into a fortress of ice crystals and having them bounce right back). This certainly is taking what we loved from the last Mortal Kombat game and applying it to a tamer environment.
