The highly anticipated third iteration into the Assassin’s Creed franchise is coming along nicely as it’s headed for its October 30th release date this year. While a lot of the gameplay mechanics are still mystery, Ubisoft has put together a short walkthrough of a mission within the game, demonstrating some of the more acrobatic and stealthy moments you can expect. It will be up to you how you play, but these are some of the new and improved mechanics Ubisoft has dedicated their time in revolutionizing.

The big emphasis in this video is stealth and escape. What is shown is stealth positioning, which allows you to press up against a wall and take enemies out Sam Fisher style, stealth stalking, which allows you to move through bushes undetected, and pass-through, allowing you to move through housing with ease in order to lose your pursuers. Also shown was the newly remodeled combat system which has a stronger emphasis on flow, along with some details such as no health regeneration during combat.
