Robert Bowling To Develop An Ouya Exclusive

Posted by Adam Beck on 19 Jul 2012

The kickstarter “funded” Ouya game console has been getting a whole lot of attention in the last couple of weeks, but I don’t think many core gamers thought the system would be a serious competitor in the gaming space. After all, it’s basically a top of the line android phone dedicated to playing games on your television.

Now, you may know Robert Bowling as Infinity Ward’s former creative strategist on the Call of Duty franchise, but after his departure four months ago, he founded a new video game studio under the name of Robotoki. Today we received an official reveal that Bowling and the team at Robotoki will be working exclusively for the Ouya on a number of titles that tie into their upcoming game, Human Element.

The Ouya exclusive will be run as an episodic series that will tie into Human Element it ships to unannounced platforms in 2015. For more on the announcement and the video reveal, head over to Ouya’s kickstarter updates page.

Well, this certainly puts some credibility behind the Ouya.
