Green Man Gaming Expands to Physical Games

Posted by Adam Beck on 23 Jul 2012

If you’re a big PC gamer, you’ve probably purchased a game or two via Green Man Gaming’s spectacular daily deals. In the last month alone, I was able to pre-order three major games for thirty dollars each, all of which will be redeemable on Steam. Just as the world is starting to focusing on the digital marketplace, Green Man Gaming is looking to expand their operations to full retail boxed copies — at least in the United Kingdom.

Coming off the announcement of their merger with social gaming site Playfire, GMG has stated that they will be moving into the UK retail marketplace and hopefully move to other regions in the future. Expanding past PC games, they will be offering a wide variety of console titles as well (and quite possibly handheld releases). The company will remain an e-commerce store, mainly consisting of warehousing and offices.
