Three Ni no Kuni Pre-Order Flavors

Posted by Steve Hannley on 03 Aug 2012

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is shaping up to be a big release come January. If you haven’t yet been tempted to pre-order, Namco is sweetening the pot. Those who pre-order at GameStop will recieve an exclusive SteelBook case upon picking up the game. It’s a sharp looking SteelBook that features artwork of main characters Oliver and Drippy.

Gamers who go with Amazon will recieve an exclusive “familiar” named Griffy. Not seen in the Japanese version, Griffy is known as the “Hunter of the Skies” and can spy on prey from great distances. While it seems like cool DLC, we have to give a nod to the physical glory of the SteelBook.

Of course, these pre-order bonuses are dwarfed by the awesomeness that is the Wizard’s Club Edition. Availably exclusively from Namco Bandai, the special edition features the game, DLC, a 300+ page hardcover book and an adorable Drippy Plush. Of course, it’s going to set you back $99.99. Maybe the SteelBook is the best option after all.

One day I plan to expose my child to no American history besides what they can pick up from playing Assassin's Creed III. Then I'm going to drop him or her into a Social Studies class and mildly enjoy the outcome. I'm going to be a great father.
