Unannounced Sega PAX Game Should Be New 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker

Sega has unvieled its PAX Prime line-up, which includes nine highly-anticipated games:

  • Aliens: Colonial Marines
  • The Cave
  • Hell Yeah! – Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
  • Jet Set Radio
  • NiGHTS into dreams
  • Phantasy Star Online 2
  • Sonic Adventure 2
  • Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
  • an unannounced digital title

While it’s exciting to finally get some updates on PSO2 and NiGHTS, the real question here is what will be the unannounced digital title? With many franchies already being represented, what’s left? 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker, that’s what.

It’s been over ten years since we last heard from the franchise (not counting the abysmal King of Route 66). We’re due. Plus, what better way to show our patriotism during a time we’re about to take back the medal crown at the Olympics. The whole “enviromental” fad is over. Gamers, nay, Americans are ready to again take to the open road in a giant metal behemoth. Your move, Sega.
