Adventures of Pluto Nash’s John Cleese Is Voice Of Smart As

Posted by Steve Hannley on 13 Aug 2012

When choosing a smart-sounding voice, nothing beats a British accent (or Leonard Nimoy). Known for his memorable wise-cracking AI voice-role in The Adventures of Pluto Nash, John Cleese will be the sultry voice that leads you through Smart As (dot dot dot). While always encouraging, his dialogue will change based on how you play, sometimes teasing you to improve. This should certainly prove effective, as being teased by a Brit is a very emasculating experience.

John is no slouch playing the game, either. According to PlayStation Blog, the team was “surprised to see a naturally strong logic game ability on display as John obtained a perfect 3 star rating while playing Chain Reaction for the first time.”

One day I plan to expose my child to no American history besides what they can pick up from playing Assassin's Creed III. Then I'm going to drop him or her into a Social Studies class and mildly enjoy the outcome. I'm going to be a great father.

Pluto Nash’s John Cleese?! Jesus Christ. Ever heard of Monty Python? But yeah, why not list the worst thing he’s ever done, instead of the comedy troupe that inspired everything funny made in the last 30 years? Whoever came up with that headline should be shit-canned.

The headline is ironic humor. You know, like Monty Python is known for.
