Vergil Makes His Return in DmC

Ninja Theory and Capcom’s upcoming origin story for Dante is shaping up nicely, and at Gamescom this year, the two companies have made an exciting announcement. Vergil, Dante’s twin brother, will be making a return to the series, but not quite as we remember him. Vergil and Kat are apart of an organization to help save the world from demons and are trying to enlist Dante for help. If you remember him from past games, Vergil was very pro-demon and was not as humanized as he seems to be in this trailer.

DmC will be released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on January 15th, with a Windows PC version coming at an undisclosed date.
