Microsoft has announced that an accessory-filled Essentials pack is coming to the 360 in October. Then, $80 will net you a black wireless controller, a media remote, 360 months of Xbox Live Gold, and an HDMI cable. While the claim of $55 worth of savings over buying them individually seems to be a little much, it’s still a fine bundle if you’re new to the system since the controller alone will cost about $50 and the remote is $20, plus you’ll be able to give Xbox Live’s premium features a shot and view them in 1080p with the HDMI cable.
