CAVE CEO/President Resigns

Posted by Steve Hannley on 28 Aug 2012

CAVE CEO and President Ito Masahito has resigned from his position citing personal reasons for his departure. Current chairman, Kenichi Takano, will assume the vacated spot.

While we wish Masahito well, we hope that it is indeed for personal reasons and not due to internal issues in the company. With COO Miki Wantanabe stepping down in May, we have to start worrying about the future of the company.

CAVE is responsible for cult-favorite Japanese titles, such as Deathsmiles, Ibara and more.

One day I plan to expose my child to no American history besides what they can pick up from playing Assassin's Creed III. Then I'm going to drop him or her into a Social Studies class and mildly enjoy the outcome. I'm going to be a great father.
