Watch: The First Stage of Mark of the Ninja

There’s something special about Klei Entertainment’s ninja-based XBLA title Mark of the Ninja. It doesn’t necessary stray away from the developer’s past, but it has a unique element of stealth and adventure that makes the game a tense and strategic experience. How to take down an enemy without alerting the guards, or drawing someone away from a location to sneak by are just a couple simple examples of what a ninja is capable of.

With that, Hardcore Gamer presents a look at the first stage, Ink & Dreams, showing off the very basics gameplay elements you are able to accomplish. This run is on a first-playthrough so expect there to be errors but lots of backstabbing and neck slashing. Mark of the Ninja is available now on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points.
