Today at Nintendo’s press conference in New York, Reggie Fils-Aime took the stage to announce big things for their upcoming console.
The Wii U will launch on November 18th, 2012 in North America (December 8th in Japan) and will be available in two packages: a basic set and a deluxe set. The basic package will include a white Wii U console, 8GB of internal memory, a gamepad, an AC adapter, an HDMI cable and a Wii U Sensor bar. The black Deluxe package will have everything in the basic set but will also include 32GB of storage, a gamepad charging station, a console stand and a copy of Nintendo Land.
The launch price is set to be $299 for the basic set and $349 for the deluxe.

Hah! I knew Nintendo Land wouldn’t be in the system like Playstation Home. While I wasn’t concerned about getting one, it sounds like the deluxe will be the most sought after, I guess another camping trip is to be planned
