We’re super stoked for the new Spy Hunter;  enough that we’re this close to installing a rocket launcher on Beck’s car. A new trailer was released today that compares the 2D sprites of ‘ol with what the new baddies bring to the table. Luckily, they’re not the only ones with upgrades. The interceptor is equipped with an arsenal of weapons including drones that shoot the top of the car and some heavy artillery.

Spy Hunter is officially due out October 9th for the PS Vita and 3DS. Check out the trailer below, which is worth a watch if only to again see the adorable 8-Bit WB logo and hear the always-awesome “Theme from Peter Gunn”.
