Can’t Wait For XCOM? Play An Interactive Video

Posted by Adam Beck on 28 Sep 2012

The highly anticipated XCOM: Enemy Unknown is less than two weeks away from release, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have to wait that long to experience it. Not only has 2k Games released a PC demo through Steam, but they have also put out an interactive YouTube video, allowing viewers to partially take control of a squad and determine their fates. Do you go in the aggressor or do you put strategy into your next move? Each action will determine who lives and who dies and how much research materials is gathered from the battle.

Of course percentages mean nothing here, but it’s a good demonstration on what you can expect when the game ships October 9th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC platforms. If you’re looking for the one intense, strategic turn-based game of the year, XCOM: Enemy Unknown will fulfill you desires.
