Despite missing its original Fall 2012 launch window, Tomb Raider is still one of the most anticipated games of early next year (which is say a lot considering how many games are actually coming out in the first six months). The series itself is evolving into something richer and in the second episode of The Final Hours, Zachary Levi talks with Rhianna Pratchett, lead writer on Tomb Raider, on how they were able to capture and write such a strong yet breakable lead heroine.
While the story itself isn’t talked about, what is discussed thoroughly is the dialogue and overall emotional breakdown of Lara Croft. It’s interesting to hear how such the badass character from 1996 has turned into a more realistic human who is capable of showing a wide variety of emotions. This isn’t the Lara we’ve come to love; it’s someone even better.
