Indie Game: The Movie Available on Netflix Instant Streaming

Posted by JPeeples on 03 Oct 2012

The first Steam-purchasable film, inspired by the many trials and tribulations of indie game development is up on Netflix instant steaming. If you were interested in the film, but turned off by its fairly high Blu-Ray and DVD prices and didn’t trust downloading it on Steam, this is the perfect chance to see it.

There’s no word yet on just how long it will be up on Netflix, but hopefully it’s on there for quite a while so the film can get as much exposure as possible. It’s good for the film itself and indie gaming as a whole. Now when’s THE WIZARD coming to Netflix instant? That’d be something. Or Mr. Wizard – that’s probably aged better, actually. And you could learn stuff beyond just how ‘bad’ the Power Glove is.

Nice, I’ve been wanting to check this out, but didn’t feel like paying for it.

$60 for a special edition DVD, not even including a Blu-Ray of it for a combo pack, was kind of asking for trouble anyway.
