Arr, Matey! Plunder the Booty in Borderlands 2 DLC

Gearbox has been knocking it out of the park lately. Borderlands 2 shipped September 18th, then the Mechromancer content was released a couple days ago on October 9th. Now, next Tuesday, they’re looking to launch their first mission-based DLC under the title “Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty.” This piece of DLC brings players to a brand new area within Pandora called Oasis, but don’t be fooled by the name; this is no paradise as it’s full of wretched, gold-hungry pirates just ready to steal the goods right off your corpse.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the pirates had the ability to snatch your purse right from your side during a fight, like those nasty thieves do. Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty will be out October 16th and priced at a reasonable $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft Points). If you were smart enough to buy the season pass for the game, you will be receiving this, along with three other pieces of content down the road, when available.
