Neo Geo X Station Doubles as Case

Posted by Steve Hannley on 22 Oct 2012

Even though its release is less than two months away, we keep learning more about the Neo Geo X, with the last update revealing that it can display content in 4:3. In a batch of screenshots released today for the console, another addition has caught our eye. The Neo Geo X Docking Station seems to double as a case — opening up to reveal a safe place to store the handheld console when not in use or for transport.

As there can’t be much to the docking station, it makes great use of the space and should prove especially helpful when the console is not in use. The more that’s released about this thing, the more appealing it gets. Who would have thought that a $200 Neo Geo in 2012 would be such a tempting proposal?

Also in the screenshot blast were some new pictures of the console we’ve posted below:

One day I plan to expose my child to no American history besides what they can pick up from playing Assassin's Creed III. Then I'm going to drop him or her into a Social Studies class and mildly enjoy the outcome. I'm going to be a great father.
