Four Months After Release, Lollipop Chainsaw Slashed to $20.

Even though it was released just four months ago, Lollipop Chainsaw has dropped to $19.99 at GameStop. At just shy of twenty bucks, it’s a smart buy for anyone who didn’t pick up the game at launch (which, judging by the drop, was apparently a lot of you).

Lollipop Chainsaw  – $19.99 360

Other retailers have yet to match the price, including Amazon, where it’s sitting at a still-discounted $29. It’s a shame the game didn’t have more staying power. All of that Nigiri-cleavage was for not! Proof that sex doesn’t sell; or more likely, doesn’t sell at $60.

It’s very tempting at $20, and one of the rare instances of a game costing less new than used. It currently costs $35 for either the PS3 or 360 versions in used condition.

the game shipped 700,000 copies and is the best selling title for grasshopper games/suda 51. it sold well and was a low budget title so they made money so actually it did well. it wasnt a flop as implied in this article.
