Dishonored DLC in December

Posted by Jake on 25 Oct 2012

A top contender for Game of the Year is set to release some downloadable content for those wanting to hone their skills. Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials is all about testing your abilities. For $4.99 (or 400 Microsoft Points), you’ll receive ten challenge maps set-up to analyze your combat, stealth and mobility traits. There are ten unique challenges to complete, including a battle arena with waves of AI enemies, a timed race to beat the clock, and a gravity-defying drop assassination course. Rounding out the package are new sets of achievements and trophies to unlock, plus a new online global leaderboard that will honor the greatest assassins for each trial in Dunwall City. With that amount of extras, even the DLC could pick up awards.

Remember, this upcoming content does not feature any new storyline — something games will have to wait until 2013 for. It was also announced that two more downloads will be campaign-driven and introduce new characters, locations, powers, weapons and gadgets.
