Hot on the tail of the Wii U release comes the latest Hardcore Gamer Show, jam-packed with Dack’s adventures in dealing with the customer service of Toys R Us and Best Buy in his quest to fulfill his two system preorders. We also discuss whether the Basic Wii U model is worth its molded plastic, the nostalgic impact of Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, and close the show with a look at the releases of the week ahead.

Who would go outside to read a book when you can stay inside and play a game of someone reading a book.
You’re right about Disney branding everything, but in the case of Marvel’s The Avengers I appreciate it because when I hear “The Avengers”, I think of the Emma Peel TV show. That British ’60′s show is my favorite. I’m always disappointed when I hear “Avengers” only to realize they mean the Marvel one!
