Dead or Alive 5 Plus Announced For the Vita

Who doesn’t love the busty babes of Dead or Alive? Team Ninja and Tecmo are looking to bring all the crazy over the top action seen in their hit fighting game franchise to the Playstation Vita. Yosuke Hayashi, head of Team Ninja, made the announcement himself in IPL’s exclusive video interview. No other information was given other than that Plus will be released sometime in the early part of 2013.

While Team Ninja is no stranger to the Playstation brand, this will be the developer’s first fighting game on a Sony handheld. Will it be as competitive as the console counterparts? Most likely not, but it’s another addition to the Vita’s slowly growing catalogue. Yosuke also goes onto say that Dead or Alive 5 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 will not be forgotten as they have additional content and patches coming in the near future.
