Streets of Rage Official Prototype Video

So remember yesterday when a Streets of Rage revival video was leaked?  With the cat out of the bag, Ruffian Games decided to release the complete version of the video.  There’s no extra footage in here, but at least there’s audio this time.  Gaz Liddon explains in the comments that this was a simple playable prototype, “…pre-pre-pre-pre (lots of pres) pre-Alpha quality. Even so it has a certain charm :) “

One important point touched upon in yesterday’s article was the complete lack of Roo, the boxing kangaroo.  It’s impossible to let an oversight of such magnitude go unquestioned, and the official word from one of the Ruffian developers is “It was a pre-pre-pre-kangaroo prototype. :D“  So that’s a relief, then.
