The title of this DLC is the epitome of what’s wrong with Family Guy Back to the Multiverse; it’s not funny. Naming a DLC pack an unexpected gross name reeks of desperation, much like the game itself. It’s the sort of thing you’d expect to see on a box at Spencer’s Gifts. The first three seasons of Family Guy are satire at its best, but the series has long lost its way, resorting to shock and gross-out gags. Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is like that but, if you can believe it, not as well-written and complete with broken gameplay mechanics.
That being said, it’s time for some DLC! Released last month for XBLA and PSN, Peter Griffin’s Man Boob Mega Sweat Pack will drip its way to Steam on January 14th. If you thought sluggishly and aimlessly running around a generic city was fun, wait until you go up to space to battle giant alien chickens! How clever. If that weren’t enough, The Evil Pack unlocks Evil Stewie and Mayor West costumes with unique weaponry. Cool! But wait — there’s more! A diaper-dressed Stewie and a pink-furred Brian. That’s funny because his fur is all pink and stuff but he’s a man dog. Luckily, the experience is classed up with gold tuxedos and top hats from the show’s opening. Not too shabby.
The DLC pack will run $4.99 and you probably won’t buy it.
