Microsoft Store Offers 1600 Free MS Points with Multiple Pre-Orders

Posted by Steve Hannley on 18 Jan 2013

Do you need more incentive to buy games at launch? 1600 Microsoft points should do the trick. Those who pre-order some of the most highly-anticpated games of the year will receive 1600 points (that’s $20) absolutely free. Titles include Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Lost Planet 3, Tomb Raider, South Park: The Stick of Truth, BioShock: Infinite, Grand Theft Auto V, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14. Head over to the Microsoft Store to check them all out. Be advised that those with a retail store in their state will be charged sales tax, but such is becoming unavoidable regardless as of late.

The free points automatically add to the cart, so make sure to not check the confusing box under “popular add-ons” for the points card, as doing so will add an additional $19.99 purchase to the order.

One day I plan to expose my child to no American history besides what they can pick up from playing Assassin's Creed III. Then I'm going to drop him or her into a Social Studies class and mildly enjoy the outcome. I'm going to be a great father.
