One of our favorite games last year will be receiving a full fledged standalone expansion pack that will be available both digitally (for PS3 at least) and on store shelves — when was the last time something like that happened? Capcom has detailed a number of new features and additions for when it hits on April 23, 2013 in North America, and three days later in Europe.
Capcom isn’t joking around with Dark Arisen as the expansion pack will be priced at a hefty $39.99 price point. It doesn’t come without reason, though, as it will feature a whole slew of new content. Included will be 25 new opposing enemies, more tiers of skills to learn, over 100 unique pieces of equipment to acquire, 14 character and pawn augments, additional character customization options, item appraisal, Japanese voice overs, and of course lengthy quests on the newly introduced island of Bitterblack.
Now all we need is a PC port and we’ll be right as rain.
