With all of the praise XCOM has received and all of the year end awards that have been thrown at its feet, the only thing that could possibly explain you not owning it yet if you’re a fan of the genre is if you were frightened away by its $50 price tag. Well, today you’ve run out of excuses as Amazon is offering a download of the PC version for a mere $25. For those of you unfamiliar with the title, XCOM is a turn based strategy RPG that has consumed the lives of many gamers over the past year and now looks to hook some bargain hunters as well. There aren’t any details on how long this offer will last, so I suggest heading over there now and picking it up.  Seriously.  Stop reading this.  NOW.
