It might’ve taken a few hours after this week’s PS Store update went live for this deal to hit, but the PlayStation Mobile version of Cubixx is now available as this week’s PS Mobile freebie. The game was previously available for the PSP, PS3, and Vita as a Mini, and is a must for anyone who loved Qix. It’s essentially the early arcade classic, but with a cube as your playing field instead of a square. Unlike every other game I’ve tried on the PSM service, this one actually supports button controls and doesn’t support touch, which seems a bit odd since it would seemingly work very well with them since it’s all about drawing lines. Still, it’s an awesome Qix clone for free – so get downloading ASAP!
