The long-awaited release of GRiD 2 is a bit under four months away, as the game’s official site announced today that it will be released on May 28 in North America and three days later in the UK. Those who pre-order will be able to get bonus cars, additional racing circuits, and exclusive online events on day one. It isn’t known exactly what new content will be included, but it’s safe to say that it’ll eventually be released on its own, with the only real question there being when and at what price point. The original GRiD remains one of the best-looking racing games on the market, and the sequel looks to eclipse that handily, and offer up even more variety than before.
