God of War: Ascension Gets a Somewhat Disturbing Live Action Trailer

The live action video was teased a bunch earlier this week, but finally the entirety of the trailer has been released. Dubbed the ‘From Ashes Live Action Trailer,’ we witness tens, if not hundreds of soldiers encroaching on Kratos’ position in a grassy valley. A shorter version of the trailer is expected to debut during the Superbowl which I suppose would be a good demographic to aim for.

I don’t know about you, but seeing your daughter crumble into ashes is kinda disturbing. I know it all has to do with Kratos’ origin story and why he wears his family’s ashes on his body, but it’s still not something you’d want to think about. Regardless, God of War: Ascension will be out March 12, 2013 exclusively for the Playstation 3.
