Konami Closing European Branches By End of Summer

A rumor has popped up from french site Gamekyo (who correctly said the same about SEGA Europe last year) that Konami Europe will close by this summer. The European subsidiaries of Konami, including branches in the U.K. and France, mainly handle distribution, localization and PR of Japanese and U.S. developed games, so this likely won’t have an effect on any of their properties, but it will certainly effect the company’s presence across the pond.
