PS Vita to Get Price Drop on February 28th

During this morning’s PS Vita conference, it was announced that the console will drop to 19,980 yen in Japan starting on February 28th. It seems that both the Wi-Fi and 3G/Wi Fi models will receive the price drop, rendering both the same price. This is just north of $200 in USD, meaning the price has been lowered $50 and $100, respectively.

No word on if this price drop will also happen in the U.S., but with the big U.S. PlayStation conference just around the corner, don’t be surprised if it drops to $199.99 in the U.S.
