Capcom’s Deep Down Trailer Sure Looks Good in HD

If you were one of the tens of thousands of gamers watching Sony’s live stream today, then chances are you caught a peek at Capcom’s new engine, Panta Rhei. Along with the engine, Capcom showed off a trailer for a new upcoming game titled Deep Down. If the lower resolution video stream didn’t catch your attention, i’m sure this 1080p source video certainly will.

They claim this is an in-engine demonstration, but it just looks too good to be true. I’m sure we’ll get to this quality of visuals eventually, but tell us what you think.

I felt Deep Down was the best thing shown last night. My mini-tour around the net today shows that many people agree!!!

The biggest surprise to me is that it’s Capcom!!
