Groupees Be Mine Anniversary Bundle Offers You Insane Amount of Content for $5

Posted by Nikola Suprak on 24 Feb 2013

Bundles tend to be a bit hit or miss. For every Humble Indie Bundle that packages Bastion with The Binding of Isaac, you have twice as many that don’t have one worthwhile game in the whole batch. It just ends up looking like the indie developers are packaging together their trash, and no matter how nice of a bow they put on it you can’t help but smell the mediocrity. Luckily, the folks over at Groupees have cobbled together quite the impressive package and are offering it at a complete bargain price. The Groupee Be Mine Anniversary Bundle currently boasts 25 different items and you can get them all for a measly price of $5. Some of the highlights include the point and click adventure title Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes from the folks over at Daedelic Entertainment and the action heavy Party of Sin. The full list is too massive to include in any single coherent sentence, so I’ve put a summary of everything at the end of the post.

For the sake of comparison, Party of Sin usually sells for $15 and Edna & Harvey goes for $20 on its own. The amount of content here is absolutely staggering, and the bundle is so diverse with so many high quality indie titles that there is sure to be something for everyone.  You’d have to be crazy to pass up a deal like this, and you can rest assured that the reason I’m saying that is definitely not because everyone who already bought the bundle (like myself) will get yet another game if they manage to reach 21,000 total sold. Well, maybe that is one of the reasons. Not the only one though.

Games (minimum purchase of $1):

Eschalon Book II – A turn based single player RPG, and unfortunately the second installment of a three part series, meaning you’ll need to actually spend some cash to get the other games if you want to know what’s going on in the story

iBomber Defense Pacific – A clever tower defense/strategy game geared to a more casual audience

LIVALINK – A first person shooter where you fight weird alien creatures

Party of Sin – A very interesting cooperative puzzle platformer that has you taking on the role of one of the seven deadly sins

Major Mayhem – An arcade cover shooter with a large variety of weapons

Airbuccaneers – A mulitplayer game focused on airship combat that pits vikings against buccaneers

Dungeons: The Dark Lord – A multiplayer strategy title that expands upon the original Dungeons title

Men of War: Assault Squad (DLC pack) – Five DLC items for a game you most likely don’t have, unless…

Games (minimum purchase of $5):

Men of War: Assault Squad – A real time tactics game with a military focus (AND FIVE DLC PACKS!)

Two Worlds II – Fantasy action RPG and definite improvement over the critically maligned Two Worlds

Edna & Harvey: Harvey’s New Eyes – An enjoyable point-and-click adventure that is off the charts wacky

Planets Under Attack – A strategy adventure game that has you taking over entire galaxies

The Cat Lady – A creepy indie darling that has won multiple awards for its story and setting

Soundtracks/Other Media:

12 (!) different non-game items, including Two Words II and The Cat Lady soundtracks and several indie EPs
