Even though the console hasn’t been shown, nor the release date and price officially announced, pre-orders have begun to spring up for Sony’s hotly anticipated console. Zavvi, a huge European retailer specializing mainly in consumer electronics, has launched one for the PS4. Available here, the console can be had for £399.99, which is about $604 U.S.

While this isn’t a confirmation of the price, it is in-line with rumors we’ve heard and what the PS3 cost at launch. If the console ends up retailing for more than Zavvi’s price, we’re not sure of their pricing policy, but so long as it can be cancelled, it probably isn’t a bad deal for those across the pond.
