After a Decade, F-Zero AX is Found Hiding Inside F-Zero GX

Posted by Bradly on 07 Mar 2013

F-Zero GX for the GameCube is perhaps the pinnacle of its franchise; it’s so good that Shigeru Miyamoto has recently gone on record and stated that he didn’t understand why fans wanted a new F-Zero game, as he felt the team had accomplished all they could with GX. So while the future of the coveted racing series is up-in-the-air, devoted fans of Captain Falcon and his crew have unearthed some information that is sure to delight the F-Zero nuts of the world.

It has been discovered that the unlockable AX race tracks from the F-Zero arcade game once thought to be in the game, and then later shown to not be in the game, are in fact in the retail version of F-Zero GX. Better still, the entire F-Zero AX arcade game itself is locked away in the title as well. The best part? These can be accessed and played in their full glory, with the help of a GameCube Action Replay or Gameshark. Using the codes below, players will be granted full access to these hidden gems:

Eh, I’m pretty sure this was known for a while, heck I discovered AR codes for it months ago, now the only problem is if the new ones that don’t allow you to rewrite them have the codes, or F-zero for that matter in it

Don’t make things up please. You unlock the AX tracks by beating the other 4 cups on Master difficulty. Everyone knows that. They’ve always been in the game.

Also, you unlock the AX drivers by beating story missions on Very Hard and then buying them in the shop. Granted, finding an actual AX machine would probably be easier than this, but still. They’re in the game, and are unlockable by normal means.
