As Tales of Xillia has been out for a year and a half in Japan, many have seen their fare share of footage from the game and may question why an English version is newsworthy. In fact, the most bold have likely imported a copy from Japan in hopes of understanding enough to progress in the game. But the below video is notable as our first glimpse of the English HUD and, most importantly, the voice acting.

The VA  isn’t the most enthusiastic in battle, but the tone of the voice actors seem to match the characters well. Plus, there’s a pretty awesome high five session about half way through.

Tales of Xillia, which already has a sequel in Japan, is due out sometime in Q3 2013 in North America.
