It’s been over a decade since gamers got their hands on a Might and Magic title. In 2002, Might and Magic IX came out and was something of a disappointment to both newcomers and longtime fans. However, despite the lackluster appeal of that installment, Ubisoft is resurrecting the series under the moniker of the tenth entry in the franchise. Seemingly blending old-school and new-fangled mechanics, X looks to be appealing to all different kinds of gamers, fans or not. Although the trailer only shows off a small portion of actual gameplay, it’s certainly enough to get an idea of whether or not the high-fantasy inspired, first-person dungeon crawling is something of interest.
