While it’s no surprise cooperative play will be returning as it has been included in every Splinter Cell game since at least Chaos Theory, Ubisoft is looking to enhance it in Blacklist. The French developer has released a new trailer today, this time showing some of the cinematic and strategic abilities you will witness if you play Blacklist with a friend. Of course this will be its own mode and not the main campaign, but there will be four mission types and 14 different maps that will support two players.
Best yet, one of the main characters will be Sam Fisher himself instead of some nameless and faceless agent. Expect even more as we approach Splinter Cell Blacklist’s release date on August 20.
